The History of Kantner Design

Kantner Design has been creating creative and effective websites since it was founded in 2000. In that year we developed our first commercial website for World’s Best Bagels, a website which went on to win an award in Athens News Best of Athens Category: Best Website. In the years since we have continually been keeping our skills honed and up to date with the latest in web development. While countess web design studios have come and gone since we started business, we have remained as one of the longest continually operating design studios in the Athens area.

About Brandon Kantner

Brandon Kantner, the founder of Kantner Design has been working with local businesses since he began working at Performance Signs of Athens, Ohio in 1997 as a sign designer. During those 6 years Brandon worked with countless businesses and entrepreneurs designing signs, vehicle graphics, and logos. He took pride in exceeding clients expectations by creating designs that made them stand out from the crowd and look less ordinary.

While always having a talent for the creative he is also fascinated by technology and the internet. As a hobby Brandon began immersing himself in the growing online world and learning about web technologies. This culminated in the creation of his first commercial website in 2000. Since then his knowledge and skills of design, usability, SEO, information architecture, social media, and other internet technologies has grown exponentially and now his business, Kantner Design, is one of the premier website development and design studios in the region.

An idea is salvation by imagination.

Our Specialities

Kantner Design specializes in high quality design that will make you stand out from the crowd. We offer website design and development, logo and brand design, brochure and other print design.

Website Design

Your website is often the first place that customers will learn about your business and it will create their first impression of you. Kantner Design specializes in making that first impression a great one.

Logo Design

A strong logo is key to your brand. Compare your logo to your competitors. If it’s not better, or at least as compelling and memorable, then you need to consider updating your logo.

Without a logo—or worse, a poorly designed one—your business may look unprofessional. A business may be able to survive without a good logo, but a great logo will help your customers and potential customers identify with you and give you a competitive edge.

A brand is something intangible, an aura, an invisible layer of meaning that surrounds a product—it’s the gut feeling your customers feel towards your product or service. You can’t control this process but you can influence it. This is where design comes in.
